<h3><strong>Your Role</strong></h3>
<p>We&rsquo;re seeking a salesperson or sales leader experienced in the fresh produce or wholesale food industry who is eager to build sales from the ground up in a fast-paced start-up environment.</p>
<p>As our first dedicated Account Executive, you will lead the full sales cycle and have significant opportunities for growth, impact, and leadership.</p>
<p>Working closely with our CEO, you&rsquo;ll represent Permanent&rsquo;s rapidly growing and differentiated catalog of organic, transitioning, and regenerative California-grown produce. You&rsquo;ll win, manage, and grow mid-sized and large accounts across the U.S., focusing on the West.</p>
<p><strong>**This role is remote in the United States**&nbsp;</strong></p>
<h3><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and multi-million dollar account management.</li>
<li>Depending on seniority, either influence or lead Permanent&rsquo;s sales strategy and roadmap.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Product to refine our marketplace, supply, and distribution network to create a best-in-industry buyer experience.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with Supply and Operations to identify opportunities and ensure timely order fulfillment.</li>
<li>Develop and measure sales processes, systems, and metrics to scale with our growing team.</li>
<li>Identify and validate the most impactful tactics, programs, marketing strategies, and branding efforts.</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of experience working for a grower-shipper-packer, aggregator, marketer, brokerage, or foodservice distributor in the fresh produce industry.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of the wholesale produce market and supply chain, with a proven track record of building strong relationships with buyers and suppliers. Strong candidates will likely have sold pallet quantities into foodservice, retail, or processing and built custom supply chains to do so.</li>
<li>Significant sales experience in a fast-paced environment, including full-cycle sales management, and launching new sales channels</li>
<li>Entrepreneurial initiative and a bias for action; ready to roll up your sleeves and work with a small, dedicated team.</li>
<li>Passionate about sustainable food systems from both a people and climate perspective.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience building revenue from the ground up.</li>
<li>Strengths in one or more areas: marketing, program management, buying/procurement, growth, or logistics.</li>
