To achieve this milestone, we are seeking an experienced Site Operational Lead to lead the operations and maintenance of this state-of-the-art facility.</div><div><br></div><div>As Site Operational Lead, Deep Sky Alpha you will play a vital operating role in operating and managing our state-of-the-art direct air capture facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong track-record in operating and managing large-scale demonstration plants in the industrial sector, such as chemical processes, with a passion for environmental sustainability and technological innovation.</div><div><br></div><div><b style="font-size:11pt;">This role is based in Innisfail, Alberta.</b></div><br><br><h3>In this role you will work closely with the VP, Site Operations to:</h3><ul><li>Lead the setup and operational management of the pilot facility, ensuring all systems function within set parameters.</li><li>Hire, train, and manage a team of operators and support staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Oversee the implementation of health and safety protocols throughout the facility.</li><li>Coordinate and manage the execution of 10 direct air capture pilot tests, including scheduling, resource allocation, and data analysis.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize DAC processes. </li><li>Maintain compliance with all governmental regulations and environmental guidelines.</li></ul><h3>An ideal candidate has: </h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental or similar.
