These solutions are especially focused on the rapid adoption of renewable energy resources and electric vehicle charging solutions.</p><p>EVO Power is going through a period of strong and sustained growth in Australia and has recently expanded its business into the US and South Korea.</p><p>As part of our long-term strategy to continue this unprecedent growth, an opportunity exists for a Head of Sales, a critical leadership position within EVO Power USA and the Commercial function.</p><h3>ABOUT THE JOB</h3><p>The role is responsible for the achievement of the organization’s sales and revenue targets, development of the local sales team, development and implementation of market strategies, and the promotion and sales of the EVO Power portfolio of products and services.  </p><p>Main Purpose of the Role:</p><ul><li>Achieve annual financial objectives including Net Sales, Net Margin, Gross Revenue as determined by the business and manage Commercial Team Cost Centre expenses in accordance with annual budget.</li><li>Lead the Sales team to deliver outstanding sales results by supporting new and existing clients with a professional and educational/consultative technical sales approach.</li><li>To focus on the development of sales within the Commercial &amp; Industrial and Utility BESS space. To develop new opportunities and grow our network of partners to deliver BESS solutions for Projects, Tenders, PPA deals etc.</li><li>Maintain strong existing customer relationships and source and develop new customers.</li><li>Embed the use of sales and customer data, identifying risks and opportunities for the business that provide direction and focus for the broader sales team.</li><li>Work closely with and provide input to EVO Power internal stakeholders, cross functional teams and leadership on the selection market leading hardware and software solutions.</li><li>To come up with new ideas to “create the market” including working closely with developers, government and retailers for projects, trials and other ESS system rollouts.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the key management team to work on new opportunities that may arise. </li><li>Manage the Utility / Industrial sales team and work together to provide the highest level of customer service / sales revenue balance.</li><li>To deliver the agreed KPI’s, company vision, strategy values and specific objectives of EVO Power USA.</li><li>Attend industry conferences and events to promote our brand and offering.</li><li>Develop a high performing sales team through effective people and performance management to optimize effectiveness and potential of team members.</li><li>Build effective cross-functional relationships and high levels of collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.</li></ul><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Manage and lead the sales team and provide guidance on targets and direction.</li><li>Manage key sales aspects of the business between EVO Power &amp; strategic opportunities (providing sales, marketing, training, project support).</li><li>Meet regularly with key customer contacts &amp; communicate product roadmap, presentations and project delivery timelines.</li><li>Support onboarding new partners/customers with product information, training, and co-operative marketing initiatives to maximize sell-in, sell-out and repeat business.</li><li>Establish a key account management plan ensuring that critical data such as customer organization, key contacts, business model, channel strategy etc. are captured and maintained by the sales team.</li><li>Develop &amp; update/maintain a strategy within the channel/account plan to maximize the sales of EVO Power’s ESS range within the assigned customers &amp; channels, including proactively seeking-out new opportunities to be promoted to developer and installation businesses.</li><li>Stay informed of market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.</li></ul><p>Additional Tasks:</p><ul><li>Attend all necessary internal &amp; external meetings, conferences and functions as required.</li><li>Submit monthly report on all strategic activities (including performance against agreed plans), negotiations, and industry development.</li><li>Adhere to critical ISO 9001, ISO 14001 &amp; ISO 45001 processes.</li><li>Manage trading agreements (including negotiations) between EVO Power and its customers.</li><li>Report incidents and near misses to the HSEQ Supervisor or the Compliance Officer.</li></ul><p>Culture:</p><ul><li>To promote diversity and equality of opportunity in all EVO Power’s work and practices.</li><li>To assist in building a staff culture where everyone is valued and equipped to do their job.</li></ul><h3>ABOUT YOU</h3><p>Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:</p><ul><li>A minimum of 10+ years senior team leadership experience with preference for experience in a sale, business development or marketing environment.</li><li>At least five years’ experience in the renewable energy industry is crucial.</li><li>Strong commercial acumen, balanced with strong team development and collaboration skills.</li><li>The ability to establish constructive and effective stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, including the ability to network at management and executive levels.</li><li>Highly experienced in business development planning and managing strategic projects.</li><li>Demonstrated ability and solid understanding of managing financial KPI’s for a business unit.</li><li>Demonstrated record of achieving financial targets (sales and margin objectives).</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, and the ability to influence others.</li><li>Deep knowledge of the renewable energy market including regulations and emerging technologies.</li><li>Eligible to work in the United States (required).</li></ul><p>IMS Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Ensure that all employees receive training, instruction, and information to enable them to perform their work.</li><li>Communicate the company’s Quality, OHS and environmental policies and processes to all employees and is also responsible for communicating risks and responsibilities for integrated management system.</li><li>Take reasonable care for your own health and safety.</li><li>Report any quality, safety and environmental incidents or hazards to the relevant Manager or Supervisor.</li><li>Keep informed of the contents of the integrated management system and apply it to daily work.</li><li>Adhere to EVO Power USA’s Employee Handbook.</li></ul><h3>LOCATION </h3><p>Ideally Southern California (LA to San Diego), however suitable candidates outside of this location will be considered.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

This role requires a strong technical background in battery storage solutions, system modeling, and pre-sales engineering support. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in project sizing, technical-economic analysis, and pre-sales activities, ensuring optimized and efficient energy storage system designs. This role may require occasional travel for pre-bid site visits, as well as attendance at industry conferences and events as needed. An overall expectation is that all employees approach each task assigned in a professional and diligent manner.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Battery Storage Project Sizing<ul><li>Assess customer requirements and develop optimal BESS sizing solutions.</li><li>Evaluate system capacity, performance, and cost-effectiveness.</li></ul></li><li>Modeling and Sizing Optimization<ul><li>Develop technical and economic models to assess energy storage feasibility.</li><li>Perform simulations for system optimization based on customer requirements.</li></ul></li><li>Pre-Sales Technical Support<ul><li>Work closely with the sales team to provide technical guidance to customers.</li><li>Address customer inquiries related to system performance, compliance, and integration.</li><li>Assist in responding to RFPs, RFQs, and customer inquiries.</li><li>Drive technical reviews and response to tender requests as part of the Regional Bid team ensuring the technical response matches EVO Power product deliverables and capabilities.</li><li>Undertake the technical review process for all supply contracts and/or sales agreements.</li></ul></li><li>Pre-Sales Engineering<ul><li>Develop preliminary system designs for electrical and Energy Management System (EMS) integration.</li><li>Create high-level single-line diagrams (SLDs) and system architectures.</li></ul></li><li>Product Training &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Develop and deliver training materials (design guides, installation manuals, and technical documentation).</li><li>Conduct customer and internal training sessions on battery system integration best practices.</li></ul></li><li>Compliance &amp; Regulatory Approvals<ul><li>Manage UL certification, CEC listing, and TM2 processing for battery storage products.</li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, including UL 9540, UL1973, UL 1741, NFPA 855/68/69.</li></ul></li></ul><p>Additional Tasks:</p><p>EVO Power USA is growing rapidly, with this important role, job functions will be varied and diverse with more resources joining the team over time as we transition from start up phase to Growth and Expansion phase.
