The ideal candidate will have a track record in maintaining large scale solar power systems. These activities include but are not limited to:</li></ol><ul> <li>Periodic cleaning of solar PV modules as per annual maintenance schedule</li> <li>Inspection of the solar mounting structures</li> <li>Periodic cable inspection as per annual maintenance schedule</li> <li>Array Junction Box (AJB) maintenance as per annual maintenance schedule</li> <li>Conducting PV system checks.</li> <li>Taking and archiving of “before and after” pictures of solar panel array.</li> </ul> 2. Plan, prepare, and manage schedules pertaining to preventive maintenance on allotted solar plants.<ul> <li>He/she is expected to plan maintenance activities for members of his/her team on a weekly basis.</li> <li>He/she is expected to ensure that the annual maintenance schedule for solar plants is strictly followed.</li> <li>Weekly reporting of all executed maintenance activities.</li> </ul> 3. Enforce HSE compliance within team during all maintenance activities.<ul> <li>Ensure that all team members and 3rd party contractors have the required medical fitness and competency certificates.</li> <li>Liaise with QHSE officers for the provision of all required RAMS documents.</li> <li>Ensure the availability and mandatory use of PPE within the team.</li> <li>Ensure that all safety guidelines are strictly adhered to, especially while working at heights.</li> <li>Report all safety incidents and near-misses to the QHSE department.</li> </ul>Requirements1. Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.2. Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in Electrical Engineering roles, preferably in the renewable energy or power industry, installing and / or maintaining solar systems.3. Language Proficiency: English.4.
