Job Purpose Water is one of Colorado’s most pressing concerns, and Resource Central’s Garden In A Box program is leading the way in waterwise conservation. Each year, in partnership with over 60 Colorado municipalities and water providers, we distribute more than 13,000 professionally designed, low-water garden kits tailored for Colorado yards. This position will play an essential role in the distribution of these Garden In A Box kits to customers across the state at around 30 distribution events in May and June. We are looking for a passionate individual with exceptional leadership and customer service skills to help establish vibrant, waterwise landscapes as the new norm in Colorado! This is an in-person role that involves driving the company vehicle from the Resource Central Boulder office to and from event locations throughout the state. Most events are located throughout the Front Range in four main service regions: Northern Colorado, Boulder, Denver Metro, and South Denver, and travel to locations on the Western Slope including in Durango, Grand Junction, Aspen, and Steamboat Springs may be involved. Hours can vary and range from three to five days per week. The exact start and end date may be flexible. The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 in addition to mileage reimbursement, paid training, and sick leave.
