The Senior Project Manager will plan, resource, and implement Community Solar and Commercial &amp; Industrial ground mount, rooftop, and carport projects across the nation. These projects may range in size between 1-5MW. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the planning and management of all aspects of the construction process and working with owners, subcontractors, engineers, vendors, and financiers for successful project delivery. The Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for providing guidance and mentoring both Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers as necessary to support the effective execution of all projects in their region.</span></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;"> </span></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">Strong problem-solving abilities are a must to deal with inevitable shifts in project scope, schedule, and other elements of the project lifecycle. Expectations are focused on managing budgets and schedules for more complex projects while maintaining a high level of communication both internally and with the various external stakeholders.    </span></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;"> </span></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">This position offers a great opportunity to join a best-in-industry Project Management team and growth potential at a cutting-edge company with a national footprint.  </span></div><br><br><h3>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</h3><ul><li>Technical oversight and coordination of Project Managers’ work in a particular region</li><li>Review contracts and ensure that all contractual obligations are met.</li><li>Review drawings and specifications and have a thorough understanding of the scope of work</li><li>Develop project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.</li><li>Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.</li><li>Manage all subcontractors, internal resources, third parties, and vendors to implement the project execution plan.</li><li>Monitor subcontractor construction progress on a regular basis, reinforcing safety and quality with subcontractor and addressing any issues that arise during construction.</li><li>Manage contractors and utilities to achieve Commercial Operations Date (COD) </li><li>Coordinate internally to monitor project schedules and assure timely completion of all deliverables.</li><li>Manage that projects forecast milestone deliverable dates and complete data room deliverables in conjunction with project finance or owner responsibilities for tax equity, construction lending, or private owner partnerships</li><li>Assist the preconstruction department in developing project estimates and schedules during the sales process.</li><li>Approve invoices and manage progress billings.</li><li>Initiate close-out procedures and prepare close-out documents.</li><li>Perform procurement activities, such as quoting and creating purchase orders, and coordinate logistics of material purchases arriving at project sites.</li><li>Communicate in a clear and thoughtful manner with project stakeholders</li><li>Manage lessons learned process for assigned projects</li><li>Travel to sites as necessary (up to 25% travel expected)</li><li>Mentor and provide guidance to Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers in assigned region</li><li>Support with feedback on process improvements and developing standard operating procedures</li></ul><h3>REQUIRED COMPETENCIES</h3><ul><li>4+ years of related solar ground mount, rooftop, and/or carport construction management experience</li><li>Minimum 6 years of professional experience required, with direct experience providing guidance to junior employees</li><li>Experience in the solar industry or comparable energy experience</li><li>Mastery of the primary job responsibilities and ability to manage more complex projects</li><li>Strong Understanding of site diligence documents to ensure the EPC scope accurately captures the site constraints, including Roofing warranty, electrical schematics, power flow studies, PVSysts, Geotech, ESAs, permits, interconnect agreements &amp;
