Project assignments may vary in size, including but not limited to internal Origin initiatives related to Manufacturing, Product Development, R&amp;D, and Capital Deployment.</li><li>Steer project execution through Origin Stage Gate Process as applicable to ensure project cost, schedule, and quality requirements are achieved. </li><li>Utilize Team Charters and related Project Plans to guide project team to meet project objectives and goals.</li><li>Motivate team members to successfully transition through various stages of team development. Conduct team alignment and KO sessions as required based on project type, size and duration. </li><li>Clearly and frequently communicate project progress, potential issues, constraints and/or risks, and resource requirements within project team as well as to relevant business stakeholders. </li><li>Assume accountability for Risk Management process for assigned project(s), leading the team(s) to address and implement relevant strategies to control risks.</li><li>Successfully identify and manage changes, with timely stakeholder notification regarding Changes or Deviations.</li><li>Apply industry standard Project Management practices to measure, track, monitor and control project schedule, cost and quality - including but not limited to Earned Value Management (EVM).</li><li>Compile and present project reports as required to various functional and management teams.</li><li>Ensure project documentation is well managed with clear handover to relevant stakeholders as part of project closeout.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement on projects as well as project management processes.</li><li>Uphold Safety and Integrity as integral components of Origin’s culture.</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>Educational requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, preferred</li></ul></li><li>Relevant experience<ul><li>5+ years Chemical Industry experience</li><li>5+ years of project management in specialty chemicals manufacturing and/or EPC similar sector</li><li>Experience utilizing adaptive project management frameworks (Agile, Scrum, etc.)</li></ul></li><li>Skills and competencies<ul><li>Project Management </li></ul></li></ul>Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>PMP Certification or equivalent project management certification</li><li>New Product Development experience </li><li>Lean / Six Sigma Certification and demonstrated experience with continuous improvement techniques</li><li>Experience with ERP (NetSuite / SAP / Oracle) or other project cost management tools</li></ul>Salary Range: This position is a Level 3 at Origin Materials. The pay range for this position level at Origin Materials is $80,500 - $158,000.
