<div>Job Type</div><div>Full-time</div><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>The Career Services Specialist is the primary point of contact regarding job availability and placement for students during class and post graduation. The person who serves in this position is responsible for maintaining all placement and completion rate documentation for ARI in conjunction with our accreditation and approving bodies. In addition, Career Services Specialists create, foster, and maintain positive relationships with industry partners to assist placement of ARI graduates.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><p>The essential functions of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:</p><ul><li>Conduct resume and interview workshops in the classroom.</li><li>Review and update student resumes to meet hiring company criteria and needs. </li><li>Assist students in ensuring they are prepared for successful outcomes in their job search with networking, phone skills, interview preparation and other job search processes.</li><li>Coordinate/facilitate in-person or web-based employer briefing opportunities.  </li><li>Distribute Placement Verification Forms to students on last day of training and communicate the importance of their return. </li><li>Collect placement information from students and/or employers, including verification of 30-day employment for ACCET and 35-day employment for BPPE information, utilizing the Placement Verification Form to include all data needed to be in compliance with governing bodies.</li><li>Input student placement data in the electronic student record system (QuickBase).</li><li>Create and maintain the ACCET form 28.1.</li><li>Ensure all Placement Verification Forms are filed in the student academic files and in the electronic student record. </li><li>Prepare and maintain reports to keep management abreast of current and ongoing placement rates.</li><li>Provide required data to complete the BPPE yearly performance fact sheet (CA campuses only).  </li><li>Report student success stories.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.</li><li>Follow all ARI policies and procedures.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Required Skills, Abilities, and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Presents a positive and professional image</li><li>Resume writing/reviewing experience</li><li>Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills in verbal and/or written format </li><li>Proficient in QuickBase and the Microsoft Office suite </li><li>Detail oriented with strong analytical skills</li><li>Team oriented</li><li>Ability to make professional, appropriate decisions independently, with minimal supervision</li><li>Aptitude in problem solving and conflict management </li><li>Experience working with diverse groups</li><li>Professional presentation skills</li><li>Ability to travel as needed to achieve ARI goals and objectives</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Certification Requirements:</strong></p><ol><li>Required: High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Required: Legal ability to work in the United States.</li><li>Required: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain a drug-free status. </li></ol><p><strong>Core Values:</strong></p><p>Airstreams Renewables embraces our core values of accountability, respect, and integrity. <div>Job Type</div><div>Full-time</div><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>This position is responsible for delivering and facilitating the ARI course curriculum/s. This includes classroom instruction, field instruction, and administering assessments in both written and lab environments. This position also assists in the creation and implementation of curriculum in accordance with ARI policy. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><p>The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:</p><ul><li>Deliver and facilitate ARI approved safety, technical, and skills curriculum using ARI Instructional Theory and classroom visual/audio equipment while effectively managing class time.</li><li>Provide subject matter expertise to design and develop user training programs, including manuals, facilitator guides and other learning tools as required.</li><li>Perform active learning lessons for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and safety issues as needed.</li><li>Maintains required training certifications for position held.</li><li>Responsible for assessing skills needed to perform specific tasks during lab/practical evaluations.</li><li>Administer and grade all required written/electronic assessments.</li><li>Conduct retrain/refresher training as needed. </li><li>May be assigned secondary documentation responsibilities as requested by management.</li><li>Follow all established ARI policies.</li><li>Communicate regularly and effectively with team members and management to engage in the team in problem solving. </li><li>Participate in cross training with staff.</li><li>Accurately complete and submit all required student course paperwork within the required timelines.</li><li>Must be able to travel as needed to meet company goals and objectives.</li><li>Follow all ARI policies and procedures.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Required Skills, Abilities, and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Climb and descend towers up to 300’ in height. </li><li>Lift up to 50 lbs. as required.</li><li>Perform basic office and computer work for extended periods of time.</li><li>Stand, sit and walk on a daily basis in classroom and simulated field environments for extended periods of time.</li><li>Ability to safely drive work vehicles with no limitations in challenging locations i.e., snow and ice.</li><li>Speak loudly and clearly for effective communication.</li><li>Good listening skills.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills with an extreme focus on integrity and safety.</li><li>Must have great people skills and the ability to foster a learning environment with a diverse group of students.</li><li>Must be well-groomed and present a positive company image. </li><li>Treat others with courtesy and respect.</li><li>Work cooperatively or independently and inspires a team effort with all.</li><li>Ability to write legibly and pass periodic exams to ensure up to date knowledge of curriculum.</li><li>Ability to communicate well in a busy work environment.</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Skills and Knowledge:</strong></p><ul><li>Wind and Telecom Tower Safe Climbing and Tower Rescue training </li><li>Communication tower components, appurtenances, and installation procedures familiarity</li><li>Electrical principles understanding, include AC/DC Theory, electrical measurement/safety, and working with 50V and higher</li><li>Experience in wind, communication tower and solar industries</li><li>First Aid, CPR, AED, OSHA 10, Crane rigging and signalperson certifications</li><li>Teaching in an adult learning environment utilizing pedagogical theories</li></ul><p><strong>Education, Certification, and Other Requirements:</strong></p><ol><li>Required: Three years’ related working and or instructional experience or a combination thereof</li><li>Required: High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>Required: Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a pre-employment background/motor vehicle record (MVR) check.</li><li>Required: Legal eligibility to work in the United States.</li><li>Required: To pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain a drug-free status.</li><li>Additional requirements may be applicable in the state of employment.</li></ol><p><strong>Core Values:</strong></p><p>Airstreams Renewables embraces our core values of accountability, respect, and integrity.
