Business/Strategy Intern

A software focused role responsible for the development of Allye's battery systems, integrating battery hardware and software for the MAX energy storage system. Lead R&amp;D activities, battery diagnostics and prognostics and the EMS to control batteries, power electronics and related systems.Lead the CAN control of embedded battery BMS, to support integration, testing and characterisation of repurposed EV battery packs. This includes developing the end-to-end procedure for battery assessment using remote diagnostics and advanced prognostics to determine SoH and SoU (state of usability). The role will lead the qualification of the battery to full integration and development of a unified CAN controller for multiple batteries from a range of manufacturers, SoH and chemistries.Lead the development and integration of multiple embedded systems, including the BMS, CAN gateway, EMS, AC-DC bi-directional inverters, control and communications modules. As the overall lead, you will coordinate efforts across the team and suppliers to ensure our systems remains at the forefront of safety and performance while delivering full compliance to grid code regulations across a range of countries.The role is a unique opportunity to lead development, testing and validation of battery system engineering within a rapidly growing and dynamic company. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering having gained significant experience in their career working on battery systems and integration of electrical architecture for electric vehicles. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new market opportunities and strategic partnerships for the Allye MAX energy storage solutions across both mobile power and on-grid applications. You will focus on expanding Allye's market presence through relationship building, strategic account development, and creating innovative commercial models to drive business growth.You will be responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy, identifying key sectors for expansion, and establishing a network of channel partners, installers, and strategic allies. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop compelling value propositions, identify new revenue streams, and create mutually beneficial commercial relationships that drive adoption of Allye's technology.You will be highly strategic, growth-oriented and comfortable working in an early-stage business where market opportunities need to be discovered and new business models developed. Business Development Manager

This role is the mechanical system leader for Allye, responsible for developing the physical systems that are onboard our energy storage systems. This includes the primary and secondary structures, control panels, HV and LV sub-systems, wiring harnesses and heating/cooling systems. It is an important leadership role that goes beyond mechanical structures.The Director of Mechanical Systems Engineering will take ownership of the design and release of multiple parts across our battery energy storage system, delivering to program milestones and targets in quality, cost, functionality, weight, and timing. This includes the development, testing and validation of all physical systems, including the packaging of EV battery packs and AC-DC bi-directional inverters (but does not include their design).The role is a unique opportunity to lead development, testing and validation of mechanical systems within a rapidly growing and dynamic company.
