The GCMU is building the infrastructure necessary to scale the voluntary carbon market. The GCMU will provide a central book of record for the VCM that will unlock demand and foster growth by enabling financial intermediaries, like banks and insurance companies, to enter the market, provide project financing, and house risk for end-buyers.
