The acquisition positions SolarOne to bring Fonroche's innovative SmartLight 365 solar lighting technology to the USA. Moneer Azzam and Graham Sayers founded SolarOne Solutions, Inc. in Massachusetts in 2004. In 2017, it acquired Inovus Solar, based in Boise, Idaho. This cemented SolarOne’s position as North America’s leading solar lighting company.
