Where in the world of OVO will I be working?
We're growing! We currently have vacancies in various teams, so if you have a preference for the front end, back end or both, we want to hear from you.
Across our Edinburgh brands we have around 50 Software Engineers all with varying backgrounds and levels of experience. One key thing that all of our engineers have in common is a desire to develop brilliant, industry disrupting products as well as their own skills.
We trust our development teams to choose their tech stacks, here you’ll commonly encounter Kotlin, Scala, Clojure, Kafka, C#, TypeScript, Node, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes, React, Cypress and React Native. We run our services in GCP, AWS and Azure.
Is this the job for me?
We're interested in hands on engineers with expertise in at least one programming language - if your experience doesn't match our stack exactly then don't worry, we hire based on software engineering talent, not language-specific skill set. Interested in us? We're interested in you!
