Zume is spearheading the switch from plastic to 100% compostable molded fiber packaging through its patented manufacturing technology and its network of global suppliers. We have launched uniquely designed and patented products that function like plastic and are made from various biomass sources such as bagasse. Our customers span across food service / restaurants, FMCG and healthcare. 

Zume's international business is growing rapidly and is based out of Mumbai. The global headquarter is in California, USA. This is a unique opportunity to work with a US venture backed startup in India where you will be working with colleagues who have worked both in the US and in India. 

This position is based out of Mumbai and is responsible for helping various departments within the company to meet the end goal by setting up process, planning and implementing.

The Role

We are looking for a Manager - Business Operations.

What You'll Do

As a Manager - Operations for Zume India you will be owning the following responsibilities:

 

  • Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Accounts teams for seamless execution daily operations  
  • Independently drive program management of key strategic projects 
  • Conceptualize and institutionalize SOPs, scorecards & key metrics and track & drive compliance
  • Own the CRM and ensure accurate data management to get key insights for the Sales & Supply Chain team 
  • Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes
  • Create dashboards and track & analyze key metrics including pipeline growth, conversion rates, and target attainment
  • Diligently review and approve key transactional documents eg. SOs, POs, Invoices in the CRM

 Who You Are

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in program management and/or Operations roles preferably in a high growth environment in startups or renowned corporates
  • Undergrad and/or MBA from Tier I or II institutions
  • Self-starter, high ownership & ability to deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, resourcefulness, analytical nature, and follow-through skills 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong influencing skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good to have:  well versed with CRM tools - preferably Zoho
