Given the recent annountment of ChargePoint communicating its intention to become a public company in a business combination agreement with Switchback, we are strongly focused on extending our presence in Europe with a clear focus on LeaseCo, Fleet and WorkPlace.


For the expansion of  our business in the Fleet segment we will strengthen our sales team with a Fleet Partnerships Manager

VP Commercial Europe (based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands)

Dotted line to the Global Fleet Director

Summary of the role:

In this critical sales role, you will be responsible for building ChargePoint business in the Fleet Segment. Together with colleagues in the Fleet Team as well as with the support of the colleagues in the Regional teams you will continuously review the market, for delivery fleet and other designated fleet opportunities. You will be working with our Regional AE’s to build business in the territory where applicable. You will be working closely with supporting functions like Sales Development, Sales Enablement, Marketing, Policy and Legal.

In your specific role you will also be asked to support the Bus&Truck team if applicable and needed and you will be an important sounding board for the Product and engineering team (focusing on the fleet products and GtM).




  • Be responsible for the development and commercial success of specific segments and accounts in the (delivery) Fleet team
  • Participate in developing the fleet strategy, including regional sales team leverage and internal resource requirements, for each account
  • Ensure proper budgeting and accurately forecast revenue for segments and accounts, maintain contact information, business history and opportunity details in salesforce.com continuously
  • Meet and exceed individual revenue and contact quota
    Note Quota to be provided separately.
  • Ensure to qualify and develop new business opportunities from outbound/inbound calls, leads, general prospecting and email marketing. This includes networking in the region to develop one’s own opportunities
  • Ensure and where needed perform sales presentations and demonstrations to customers and prospects
  • Closely work together with the SE’s to be able to support the customers with site design and take care that site designs have been approved (to avoid operational issues)
  • Closely work with PM and Engineering in Pangbourne to try and get interop test done on all relevant fleet vehicles the customer may use on a specific site.
  • Travel extensively into territory to develop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts, present, articulate/clarify value and differentiation, and win the business in expected timeframe. You will be on the road most of the week and need to be comfortable to spend several nights per week in a hotel. Occasional travel to other locations in Europe and to our HQ in California.



  • 5-7 years in a similar Sales Management position is required. Experience selling in e-mobility, Telecom, Software and Cloud solutions, is a plus 
  • Relevant experience with technical solution and consultative selling
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • Territory (home) based and extensive travel required
  • A history of success in developing, driving and closing business and achieving quota
  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills
  • You need to be an intense energetic self-starter and able to work hard, independently
  • Capacity to interact and communicate effectively with internal resources and executives
  • A proven ability to multi-task and handle complexity
  • Teamwork oriented, and a willingness to work to the benefit of others
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver on commitments
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills, and be able to map out strong business plans for others to easily interpret and follow
  • Possess strong negotiation skills
  • Previous experience using SalesForce.com as management tool, drive behavior and success
