Job Description

Eden Reforestation Projects is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to help us  maintain our existing Salesforce environment and related third-party integrations, build new  functionality to help drive better efficiency and data management across the organization, and  ensure integrity of data in the system. This person will collaborate with numerous stakeholders across the organization to provide employee training and develop strategies to define and  implement needed improvements.  

We are looking for a candidate with a track record of success as a Salesforce Administrator. This  person should be passionate about our mission and excited to collaborate with staff at every  level of the organization to build business solutions. We will consider candidates with less than  our preferred amount of Salesforce experience if they bring proven skill in database  management, IT business analysis, and people management.  

Start Date: Immediately 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Learn and maintain the existing Salesforce platform, and its integrated add-on products,  ensuring consistent usability. 
  • Lead the process of evolving the Eden Salesforce implementation from small  modifications to major improvements throughout the development lifecycle, including  gathering of requirements from stakeholders, designing and configuring systems,  conducting appropriate testing, deploying of new feature sets, collaborating with  colleagues to design user friendly profiles, and user training.
  • Collaborate with Eden staff and leadership to develop new functionality and business  processes that support Eden’s strategic goals. 
  • Maintain data integrity in the system by performing routine data integrity tasks,  including, de-duplication, system health checks, mass updates and reconciliations. • Manage Salesforce administration, including, but not limited to: user roles, security,  profiles, permissions sets, fields/relationships, workflow rules, processes & flows, page  layouts, validation rules, email templates, custom buttons. 
  • Troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user  assistance where required. 
  • Remain current on the latest releases and features available on the Salesforce platform  and related relevant products including any third-party applications and plug-ins  connected to Salesforce. 
  • Evaluate new releases of Salesforce features and updates to determine functional  requirements and disseminate information on how changes will affect all  departments/users. 
  • Drive the evaluation of new features or add-on applications for possible future inclusion  in Eden’s Salesforce implementation. 
  • Maintain high quality documentation of system configuration and automations. • Provide backup support to our gift entry & processing team as necessary. • Design, facilitate, and support staff training and best practice standards for successful  use of the database including support resources and documentation.  
  • Evaluate, maintain, and create reports and dashboards to support all users, operations,  and system performance as needed. 
  • Ensure adequate data security protocols are in place. 
  • Run a full system backup (data, metadata and error logs, if possible) on any system or  application that is integrated with Salesforce.com. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Salesforce administration or comparable  CRM or database management 
  • Salesforce declarative configuration and automation tools, including Lightning Flow • Experience with Lightning UI and Lightning development 
  • Salesforce security management including user profiles, records, permissions and access • Ability to use data cleanup (ETL) tools like Data Loader 
  • Salesforce communities administration and management 
  • Salesforce Environment management and change set management 
  • Strong ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and synthesize multiple  perspectives on needed changes and improvements 
  • Ability to manage and analyze raw data exported from Salesforce 
  • Strong focus on data integrity and accuracy
  • Experience or ability to learn the following tools: Conga Composer, FormAssembly, and  integrations with payment processors such as Stripe and Classy 

CERTIFICATIONS: 

An ideal candidate would have at least one of the following certifications, all of which are  relevant to our instance of Salesforce: 

  • Administrator
  • Nonprofit Cloud Consultant
  • Platform App Builder
  • Advanced Administrator
  • Community Cloud Consultant
