YOUR POSITION WITH TNC

As a member of the Global Digital Analytics team, the Marketing Data Analyst will partner closely with analytics teammates and key organization stakeholders to uncover new learnings about how Marketing messages are impacting key audiences engaged with our conservation work and fundraising. This role is an exciting opportunity for people who are passionate about data, creative thinkers, possess a high attention to detail, and who are motivated to use these skills to help fulfill conservation goals.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Marketing Data Analyst, will contribute to and help socialize our understanding of audience engagement with The Nature Conservancy across Marketing driven touch points. They will support a variety of internal teams through analytics deep dives, uncovering insights, making recommendations, and verifying data integrity to make data understandable and actionable to the Marketing business unit.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

  • Collaborate with Global Digital Analytics team members to review key Marketing campaign KPIs, analyze results, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships across departments and business units to ensure that our audience analysis is as comprehensive as possible.
  • Ensure data quality by auditing and validating marketing pixels across our web domains.
  • Audit and maintain best practices for the organization of assets within Adobe Analytics such as the naming conventions for custom variable metrics, segments and Workspaces.
  • Help maintain the general "Global Digital Marketing Request" queue, answering analytics related questions from the field and routing other requests to the appropriate team member in Global Digital.

 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience analyzing marketing campaign data and evaluating campaign success based on KPIs like conversion and engagement.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical discipline and 3 years’ experience or equivalent combination.
  • End user support experience.
  • Experience with the use of Microsoft Office programs.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly explain insights gained from complex data sets in plain language.
  • Experience working with social account and social post data from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and/or LinkedIn.
  • Experience evaluating marketing campaign success across multiple touchpoints (web, email, text, social media) and combining results into a single analysis.
  • Experience with tag management tools, such as Tealium, Google Tag Manager or Adobe Launch.
  • Ability to proactively identify data integrity issues that impact the overall analysis.
  • Experience validating technical implementation of analytics tags using standard tag debugging tools.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple competing demands.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
