Due to growth Nexamp is seeking a Collections Specialist to join it’s Boston Office. This position will report to the Manager, Billing & Collections and will be responsible for generating and sending statements to customers, processing customer payments and investigating collections issues. This individual will have the opportunity for future growth and development amongst a group of high achieving and fun professionals. We are seeking a driven, dedicated, and enthusiastic professional leader to join our dynamic team.



  • Support cash team in processing customer payments, reconciling online payments and applying collected amounts to appropriate customer account balances
  • Perform various collections activities such as generating and sending statements to customers, emailing and calling customers directly, as appropriate
  • Manage daily dunning in customer portal and in billing platforms
  • Monitoring the collections email inbox, responding to customer questions, and providing requested back up materials to customers. 
  • Communicating effectively with all other departments to ensure collection cases are handled appropriately
  • Weekly reporting of KPIs to management
  • Identify areas of improvement and make suggestions to improve efficiency in the collections processes
  • Perform reconciliations of accounts receivables balances
  • Support Account Management in recovery efforts
  • Support projects for ERP improvements working with third party consultants and other departments
  • Investigate collections issues, escalating issues as appropriate. 
  • Researching and resolving customer disputes with outstanding invoices & customer remits
  • Document and maintain collections processes and activities 



  • 1+ year of professional or related experience
  • NetSuite, Salesforce and Zuora experience preferred but not required
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive management, external customers, and all departments across the organization
  • Strict attention to detail in professional client-facing communication
  • Exhibit cross-functional leadership in a fast-paced environment 
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and efficient
  • Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
