Financial Analyst

OverviewBeyond meat is a fast-growing company in need of a dynamic finance professional. This position will support the plant controller to meet financial targets and strengthen controls within the Netsuite ERP environment. This position will also be a key support to the operations team to improve plant performance. The position requires a broad business perspective and fundamental skill to manage financial reporting, budgeting, product costing, fixed assets, and inventory. 

To be successful in this role, the candidate needs to have the following:

• NetSuite experience or comparable ERP system experience is vital for success in this position.
• Self-drive and a continuous improvement mindset
• Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting and strong operational knowledge
• Ability to develop and or maintain financial models
• Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced business
• Ability to account for inventory and fixed assets at multiple locations

Daily activities will typically include:

• Maintain BOM and Recipes within Netsuite.
• Account for and monitor Netsuite inventory levels at multiple locations
• Track production of products at two manufacturing facilities, including a new facility
• Identify and implement process improvements or standards creation
• Frequent communications with employees on the production floors
• Written and verbal communications with plant personnel, co-packers, warehouses, and management at the corporate headquarters

Knowledge/Skills

• NetSuite experience is preferred. Netsuite or comparable ERP system experience is vital for success in this position.
• Strong computer skills (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
• Good communication and team leadership skills, ability to work with and/or supervise a variety of people.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and corporate financial policies
• Strong cost, managerial accounting exposure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education/Certification

• B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of manufacturing or related accounting experience required
• At least 2 years supervisory/managerial experience required
