What we’re looking for:

We need a creative, results-oriented local marketing expert to join our marketing team. This role will be responsible for creating & executing programs that establish Arcadia as the trusted clean energy partner for people in a variety of local markets.

To accelerate Arcadia’s ability to deliver on its mission, you will be responsible for driving comprehension & customer acquisition. You’ll accomplish this by finding unique opportunities, ranging from scrappy guerrilla tactics to omnichannel programs. You’re right for this role if you have repeatedly demonstrated success in building local marketing programs from scratch & executing them across multiple channels.

The right person for this role will be excited by the opportunity to reimagine Arcadia’s local marketing strategy & scaling efforts to drive greater value to the business through deep connections with the communities we operate in today. You will work closely with Comms, Product Marketing, Creative & Growth Marketing teams to bring Arcadia to life in-market.

This role can be based in Washington, D.C. or New York & will report to the Growth Marketing Director.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the development of local market plans to deliver against marketing goals, including customer acquisition & comprehension
  • Develop deep community connections for Arcadia that create outsized impact
  • Use user research & behavioral data to help inform new programs & tactics
  • Ensure operational consistency with other marketing programs
  • Own & manage budget to achieve goals, with a focus on maximizing impact to investment 
  • Manage & negotiate terms of relationships with contracts, partnerships, sponsorships &  vendor relationships

What will help you succeed:

Must-haves:

  • 5+ years of local, city or field “full stack” marketing experience
  • Proven success in delivering against goals across awareness, consideration, & acquisition/revenue
  • Deep experience in establishing key relationships & negotiating partnerships
  • Excited by executing in a hands-on environment against campaign priorities
  • Creative & empathetic thinker with a focus on customer-first solutions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment & adapt to shifting priorities 
  • Excellent written, verbal & listening communication skills
  • Passion for our mission, sustainability, & helping drive a clean-energy future

Nice-to-haves:

  • Direct-to-consumer marketing experience
  • Proven success in an industry with large acquisition/revenue goals
