Your role and your team: 

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Supply Chain Operations Specialist working closely with senior leadership of a program, logistics, design & manufacturing engineering as well as major suppliers to ensure program objectives are met and stay on schedule. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Operation, the Operations Specialists is responsible for making timely and cost-effective buying decisions that remain within the budget of the project. You need to determine product need and identify, communicate and negotiate with suppliers while setting up shipments, delivery and payment schedules to coordinate with the scheduled work flow on the project.

 Your Day to Day:

  • Create ERP purchasing documents, including purchase order and order confirmation
  • Support indirect purchase, including workshop consumables and non-flight parts/tools/equipment
  • Manage and maintain the webshop accounts
  • Assist in documentation, such as NDA
  • Maintain supplier contact database and integrate new supplier contacts in the database
  • Preparing technical data package for quotation
  • Facilitate engineering change (i.e. sending updated tech data to supplier, updating new part number or revision in ERP)
  • Invoice clarification and approval
  • Prepare data analysis for dashboard and ERP
  • Clarify delivery status

 

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
  • Minimum 3 years experience within the area of industrial engineering company
  • Minimum 3 years related functional experience within the area of procurement and/or logistics
  • High level of communication skills – Due to the importance of maintaining relationships with suppliers, excellent communication skills and be comfortable talking to all kinds of people
  • Ability to make correct independent decisions when appropriate, adjust and conform with varying schedules, organize and prioritize multiple tasks, problem solve, and write and communicate effectively.
  • Software: Good knowledge Excel & Power Point
  • Language: English required / German a plus
