Why We’re Rad (about us): Rad Power Bikes is a leading consumer direct ebike manufacturer specializing in high quality yet affordable electric bikes for weekend warriors, hardcore commuters, and family cyclists.
Madly growing and headquartered in Seattle, WA, we are seeking a full-time Mobile Expansion Lead to join our team. If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are looking to support a dynamic team, this might be the role for you! 
Our Mobile Expansion Lead will be responsible for traveling to new areas, helping our Mobile Support Manager to develop our Rad Mobile fleet of service vans, training Rad Mobile Ambassadors on all things captured with Rad Mobile Service in order to successfully satisfy our Rad customers. 

Why You’re Rad (about you):

  • 2+ years of experience with bikes in a formal setting 
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills, friendly attitude, and an interest in working with ebike users 
  • A background in customer facing roles that drive new bike and service revenue
  • Ability to problem solve in unique situations 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment 
  • Ability to work as part of a small team to create a customer-centric environment
  • Comfortable working in a variety of settings (in-shop, outside and at field locations) as required
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environment - physically and digitally

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record 
  • Experience with Zendesk, Netsuite, Adobe, Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Shopify, Smartsheet
  • Comfortable driving large vehicles
  • Ability to ascend / descend ladders
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours / day
  • Ability to lift, push/pull, leverage and carry 75+ pounds without assistance
  • Proficient manual dexterity required while using a variety of hand tools and other equipment

You get bonus points for:

  • Experience with electric bikes or vehicles 
  • Prior experience working in a service department, performing fleet service or customer-facing role 
  • Proficiency in Spanish
  • Proficiency in CAD-related software

Had you been with us last month, the top things you would have impacted are:

  • Trained new Mobile Ambassadors up to the Rad Power Bikes standard that we embody, including but not limited to: all software applications, service standards, SOPs of service and troubleshooting, responsible use of company assets, and training on equipment used
  • Interfaced directly with the customer to introduce them to the Rad product line and assess service needs 
  • Performed assembly, inspection, and repair; ensured that all safety checks were performed 
  • Completed accurate online booking/inventory and prioritize work orders in an expedient manner 
  • Received shipments & restocked inventory
  • Represented Rad Power Bikes at local bike events and within the community 
  • Helped establish metrics and KPIs and ensured Mobile Outposts are meeting metrics; helped achieve goals and stepped in to assist when they are not being met 
  • Other duties as assigned & overtime as required
