We are looking for an engineer to join our hardware team who is strong in firmware and can support software, backend, controls, and electronics strategy. All while having uncompromising focus and vision for our customer’s needs.

Requirements

  • Contribute to all firmware, software, and electronics based projects in Treau’s roadmap.
  • Work cross functionally with business and product teams to develop the electronic and software-based systems in Treau's product roadmap.
  • Develop systems to meet electronics and software product specifications, including communication and display protocols to execute on UI/UX requirements.
  • Refine and contribute to Treau's energy saving and efficient heating/cooling system firmware.
  • Prepare devices for regulatory testing, and build test systems for manufacturing reliability.
  • Set up and maintain wireless and backend communication features.
  • Ensure device feature functionality to support the smartphone application and data collection requirements


Desired Qualifications

  • Proven track record of shipping high-quality electronics and software in IoT consumer products on a tight schedule
  • 5+ years software and/or firmware development experience.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent for experience in mechatronics, firmware, and circuit design.
  • Proficiency in Embedded C/C++.
  • Proficiency reading and interpreting schematics. Experience with Eagle, Altium, or similar electrical design CAD software.



Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS IoT Core and related services.
  • Experience shipping 3 or more consumer products.
  • Experience working with wireless communication SoCs, especially for WiFi and BLE.
