Description

Our mission is to cool the world by transforming every home to be more comfortable and healthy for the people who inhabit it - without compromising the environment. We are looking for a project manager to support the Head of Engineering with our first product’s launch efforts, while having uncompromising focus and vision for our customer’s needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead effective standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Give weekly updates and take useful meeting notes to share with relevant stakeholders, including changes, blockers, next steps and action items.
  • Build out and keep updated quarterly and annual timelines, detailing dependencies, tasks and milestones.
  • Communicate effectively to motivate others to improve productivity, including multi-tasking, being agile and flexible, giving and receiving feedback, solving problems and taking initiative.
  • Identify areas which need improved resourcing, such as tasks with slipping deadlines.
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget in cooperation with management.
  • Support materials procurement, purchasing, and sourcing activities.
  • Write technical progress reports, communicate timeline updates, and manage grant-funded activities.

Requirements

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of project management experience in a consumer technology or related industry.
  • Outstanding planning and organization skills.
  • Experience managing projects involving domestic and international suppliers.
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, with people from diverse backgrounds.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience managing outsourced consultants and agencies.
  • Experience seeing a hardware product from concept to launch.
  • Experience managing and mentoring others.
