Beyond Meat is seeking a Senior Manager, Shopper Marketing to join our team. The Senior Manager, Shopper Marketing will be responsible for accelerating profitable revenue growth via shopper programs for both Beyond Meat and our retail customers.  We are looking for an outstanding professional with experience executing innovative and differentiated strategies to reach our consumers/shoppers both in store and online. The right person possesses a high-level understanding of unique customer and shopper needs to advance activation that fosters strong customer relationships and results. Ideal candidate will have both a marketing and sales mindset with a particular focus on growing emerging categories and brand within large and mid-sized retailers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with Digital and Brand Marketing teams to develop/create transformative omnichannel campaigns from media to shelf that strengthen brand equity and drive profitable sales and revenue growth
  • Use category, shopper, and retailer specific insights to identify opportunities and industry trends to generate retailer specific strategies and annual Beyond + customer plans and budgets
  • Effectively and productively collaborate with internal sales team 
  • Partner with Digital and Brand Marketing teams to develop/create transformative omnichannel campaigns from media to shelf that strengthen brand equity and drive profitable sales and revenue growth
  • Use category, shopper, and retailer specific insights to identify opportunities and industry trends to generate retailer specific strategies and annual Beyond + customer plans and budgets
  • Effectively and productively collaborate with internal sales team
  • Provides strong thought leadership to shopper behavior-based decision making, adding value to current shopper marketing processes and potential for collaborative joint customer plans.
  • Create actionable insights and strategies based on syndicated data and category best practices
  • Conduct concept ideation with brand partners to offer insight-driven shopper programs and activations that drive key business metrics
  • Manage business metrics (sales, share, revenue, space allocation, etc.), including customer journeys (awareness, consideration, and conversion) and efficiency measures (ROAS, CTR, LTV)
  • Create communication and execution paths that are set to win across digital and in-store environments
  • Identify and lead off-platform/3rd party opportunities and collaborative partner programs (ex. Grilling) for driving online/offline sales at retailer
  • Conduct post program analyses with recommendations to optimize future programming

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or similar field
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing or sales
  • Substantial experience working in the CPG industry or retailer
  • 5+ years in account management and/or shopper marketing
  • Experience managing large retail accounts
  • Strong knowledge of omnichannel marketing and how to effective drive sales both in store and online
  • Knowledge of syndicated data sources including IRI, Nielsen, and SPINS
  • Previous experience working with mass retailers
  • Quantitative skills and financial acumen
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written, presentation to include the ability to have joint presentations with sales and interface with all levels of the customer
  • Motivated by fast-paced, rapid changing environments
  • Self-starter who loves collaboration. Comfortable working independently as well as influencing cross-functional teams
