Role:
QuantumScape is seeking a highly-motivated battery researcher to further improve the performance of our novel solid-state battery materials. You will learn how the technology works, develop new techniques for device fabrication and characterization, and work with the broader team to improve our materials and processing.
Responsibilities:
Develop new processing techniques, and integrate them into a robust and scalable electrochemical deviceCharacterize physical and electrochemical properties of materials and devices using state-of-the-art analytical methodsCollaborate with colleagues from multiple fields to optimize solutions and ensure that process specifications and device performance goals are metDeliver high-quality technical reports to colleagues
Skills & Knowledge:
You have a sound understanding of materials science and chemistry fundamentalsYou are self-motivated and have a track record of learning new skills and techniques, and applying those to achieve resultsYou thrive in a fast-paced environment, and adapt quickly to changesYou are a strong communicator and enjoy working on a team to tackle complex challengesYou share our passion for our mission
Minimum Requirements:
MS in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related technical field or BS with a minimum of 2 years experience in a research and development role
Highly Desired:
