Why We’re Rad (about us): Rad Power Bikes is on a mission to get people onto bikes, electric bikes that are built for everything and priced for everyone - the weekend warriors, hardcore commuters, and family cyclists.
Madly growing and headquartered in Ballard, we are seeking a full-time Service District Manager to join our team. If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are looking to support a dynamic team, read on.
Our Service District Manager will be responsible for helping open and manage our retail service and assembly operations to ensure each is running smoothly and meeting established service and sales goals. They will continuously communicate with the managers at their stores and with Headquarters on strategies to drive service performance, service sales, and service consistency. 
Our Retail stores are an incredibly dynamic environment that is constantly evolving as we grow. We are seeking a tenacious, goal-oriented, and organized team leader who is not afraid to jump in and get their hands dirty as needed.

Why You’re Rad (about you):

  • 5+ years of multi-unit leadership experience
  • Experience establishing service operations and working with a non-local headquarters to ensure stores are living by the company’s mission, vision, and values 
  • Experience working cross functionally with top-level department heads
  • Comfort with using metrics/data to drive results
  • Strong judge of character and a high standard for professionalism with a high level of confidence in explaining complex topics and policies to a variety of people 
  • A passion for sustainable transportation

Additional Requirements:

  • Degree in Operations or Business Admin or equivalent work experience
  • Working knowledge of bikes and how they function (particularly ebikes) & up-to-date understanding of local ebike regulations 
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
  • Ability to lift, push/pull, leverage and carry 65+ pounds without assistance
  • Proficient manual dexterity required while using a variety of hand tools and other equipment
