Your role and your team:

Reporting to the Ho Supply Chain Quality Production Organization, you will implement the supplier quality framework of Lilium’s Production and Procurement Organizations, managing supplier selection, assessments, qualifications, audit programs, and the overall fulfilment of Lilium’s Supplier Quality Requirements, in line with company requirements and certifications (EASA Part 21.G, FAA 14CFR Part 21.G, EN9100).

 

Your Day to Day:

  • Define, implement, and maintain the Lilium quality requirements for supplier qualification and maintenance based on aerospace industry standards, regulations, and company requirements, e.g, EASA Part 21G, APQP, FAI, PPAP etc.
  • Prepare and maintain supplier audit programs and conduct supplier audits.
  • Support the execution of APQP and approve supplier FAI and PPAP before shipment.
  • Create Incoming Inspection plans and carry out incoming inspection sampling with support from the Quality Inspection Management Team to confirm supplier performance and quality.
  • Manage root cause analysis and corrective action plans against non-conformances raised during the supplier audits or by Production during incoming inspection, assembly, or test in close exchange with the Quality Conformance and Inspection Management Teams.
  • Define and control the supplier quality and cost of non-quality metrics, including them within periodic quality reviews.
  • Analyze supplier quality data and define improvements.
  • Support and mentor suppliers and team members in topics concerning Industry Standards and Aviation Regulations

 

Your Profile:

  • Technical or Engineering Degree in Aerospace or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the implementation or management of Supplier Quality Management Systems, preferably with a minimum of 3 years in Aerospace.
  • Auditor accreditation or experience auditing in a EN9100 or ISO9100 environment.
  • Adequate degree of technical understanding in electronics/electrical, mechanical, and/or composite commodities.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and inspection processes in the aerospace and/or automotive industries on electronics/electrical equipment, energy storage, and/or composite structures.
  • Must be proactive, good communicator, and able to gain credibility across all levels of the organization.
  • Humble, fact-driven, resilient, and personally committed to achieving success.
  • Able to work well in teams, take the lead when necessary, as well as work autonomously.
  • Have Lean Six Sigma Green Belt accreditation and experience with problem solving tools and their application, such as PPS, 8D, Ishikawa diagram, and 5-Whys.
  • Strong motivation to help build and shape your organization, structures, and processes in close collaboration with the Procurement and Supply Chain Operations teams.
  • Willingness to travel on demand within EU as well as worldwide for supplier visit, assessment, and audits.
  • Target-oriented, driven work style with analytic problem-solving mindset required.
  • Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language would be beneficial.
