Job Description

The Role

At Span, we are building products that enable the rapid adoption of renewable energy like home solar, batteries, and electric vehicles. The Span Smart Panel replaces the standard electrical panel to become the center for connected power in the home, providing revolutionary insights and home energy controls through the Span mobile app. 

We are looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to support our growing sales and business development teams. In this role you will work with data and sales processes that support Span’s rapid scale-up to meet demand. You are a data-driven and detail-oriented collaborator who can connect the numbers to Span’s core strategic and sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Become a key contributor to Span’s sale and business development teams, with a focus on sales operations, data collection, and CRM updates
  • Collect, input, and monitor data related to Span’s sales and partner activities
  • Organize and update prospecting data for Span’s channel sales targets
  • Ensure Span’s data on customer satisfaction and Certified Installer performance are kept up to date
  • Help update CRM data and processes, making sales processes more efficient over time
  • Create reports for inbound lead metrics and inbound lead qualification processes
  • Maintain documentation of sales processes, key documents, and resources
  • Conduct market research and gather data to help inform sales prospecting and marketing activities

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in business analysis, operations, sales operations, or growth support functions; entry-level candidates should have relevant internship experience
  • Excellent communication with the ability to be clear and concise when summarizing big picture takeaways
  • Experience in sales operations and CRMs
  • Process-oriented and operational problem solver who can iterate quickly to solutions
  • Excellent data literacy, comfortable with metrics, data analysis, data input
  • Highly skilled in data organization and analysis tools
  • Organized and self-directed with flexibility to work across project types and prioritize efforts that will have the greatest impact for the company
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work cross-functionally and be a team player

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in lead data reporting, demand generation, digital marketing, and/or marketing campaign metrics
  • Extremely comfortable with data analytics using tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, SQL, and CRMs
  • Comfortable working with sales process tool integrations, e.g. Zapier
  • Experience with website analytics
  • Familiarity with SEO and paid ad campaigns
