We are currently seeking a Supplier Localization Program Manager.  The purpose of this role is to identify and co-ordinate activities that results in suppliers utilizing production locations that are close to Lucid’s manufacturing locations.

You Will:

  • Work with senior level stakeholders within Supply Chain and the broader enterprise
  • Implement a framework to triage, assess and prioritize potential commodities and suppliers that are suitable for localization
  • Work closely with the Purchasing team to ensure alignment on potential suppliers for each commodity area
  • Work with external parties to develop appropriate incentive packages to assist suppliers’ business cases to justify localization
  • Co-ordinate & lead engagements with candidate localization suppliers whilst working closely with the Purchasing team to ensure consistency with defined sourcing strategies
  • Program manage actions across stakeholders to successful complete
  • Regularly compile and present status to Lucid leadership
  • Travel ~20% of time engaging with suppliers

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical, supply chain or finance discipline - MBA preferred
  • 5 years post education work experience in a preferably automotive purchasing management role operating at a strategic level
  • An ability to be effective at all levels of the organization
  • The gravitas to engage with senior management levels at suppliers
  • Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills. Passion for results, strategy, and sense of ownership that leads to effective hand-on execution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a team-first mindset that creates a vibrant, cohesive environment to help identify opportunities, resolve problems, develop best practices and deliver optimal results
  • Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities
  • Proficient in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent)
