Role Summary:

In this high impact role, You will be a part of the Sunrun Sales organization, reporting directly into the Senior Leader of YOUR REGION.  You will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership to a team for 3 sourcing specialists supporting the Sunrun Sales organization as well as rolling up your sleeves to hire key leadership roles yourself. You will drive sourcing and partner with Sales Leadership to hire Retail Sales talent in YOUR REGION. You will interface with business leaders, and deliver qualified talent to fill this critical roles and attract passive talent. You will also provide market intelligence to drive key talent outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Strategic/Specialized recruiting activities, especially external hires
  • Take on recruiting responsibilities yourself as a leader and as an individual contributor
  • Deliver comprehensive support and consultation to business hiring groups in fulfilling recruiting strategy.
  • Effectively prioritize workload and priorities for your team of 3 sourcing specialists.
  • Handle recruitment programs to address unique needs and spikes in hiring volume and slate/pipeline development
  • Run passive candidate sourcing strategy & pipelines using various methods
  • Proactively research new sourcing ideas and methods to build innovative sourcing strategies; particularly focused on local recruiting with colleges and local communities.
  • Share standard methodologies with team and partners
  • Be a great partner across businesses and HR teams, establish ongoing relationships with hiring managers in order to understand their business and recruitment needs and fill their open positions in a timely manner
  • Set high recruitment standards, always taking in to consideration operational excellence and compliance
  • Coach managers/interview teams to incorporate capability/competency based assessments during their interview
  • Coach other recruiters and assesses performance to ensure recruitment delivery
  • Manage escalations as they arise and drives solutions
  • Run and maintain diversity strategy to attract a diverse workforce to the company by hiring hardworking people of varied backgrounds, experiences and styles
  • Ensure delivery against key TA metrics
  • Effectively use social media tools in alignment with Sunrun’s Brand Strategy
  • Effectively manage the candidate experience, ensuring that it is a positive and respectful one
  • Provide ad hoc market intelligence data to hiring team and business, combine information (talent market trend, threats, opportunity, etc.) to be used at business strategy level

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven recruiting domain expertise
  • Manages a team of 3 sourcing specialists 
  • Identifies and manages appropriate partners & influencers to accelerate and lead the recruitment process.
  • Handles projects that provide direct business impact.
  • Builds reputation as being reliable and of having strong business ethics.
  • Preferred: Experience as a recruitment team lead or retail sales team manager
  • Preferred:  Sales/Retail  Experience
