SUMMARY

Nexamp is seeking a Field Operations Manager to direct, review, and manage daily operations of our growing construction team. This individual will be responsible for all reporting, monitoring of processes, and budgets resulting in a reduction of waste and increased efficiencies. We are looking for a strategic individual who can develop a workforce plan and align it to the needs and shifting priorities of our projects across their geographic region.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively communicate Nexamp’s beliefs throughout the organization and promote culture of quality workmanship in the field
  • Promote and communicate the Company quality policies and procedures
  • Develop operational policies and procedures for maximizing safety, performance and profitability
  • Manage and coordinate materials to ensure ongoing operations are equipped and staffed
  • Resolve all issues and concerns relating to field office operations
  • Develop best practices and standard tools to use to continuously improve operational efficiency
  • Streamline all field office operational, functional and administrative systems and insure they are in compliance with local laws and regulations
  • Develop workforce plan with Project Management Team for each project to include the general labor needs, supervisors, site management and equipment necessary for each project, as well as identify key employees and training needs.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis investigations and drive closure of accompanying action items

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with contract hires, able to manage a large team of individuals in a large geographic area.
  • Strong, demonstrated knowledge of NEC and OSHA compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and analyze electrical diagrams and solar plans
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills, a tremendous attention to detail and follow-through, have sound written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist service and fleet team to ensure adequate coverage across the network logistics and material shipping
  • Demonstrated ability and knowledge of OSHA30, Fall protection and CPR/First Aid
  • High school or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the Solar Industry
  • Demonstrated construction industry or related vendor project management
  • Valid Driver’s License
