Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Contract Recruiter to help manage our rapid growth in our braches in the Northeast. This position is 100% remote and will cover full life-cycle recruiting for our field operations and construction groups. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, and maintaining daily interaction with hiring managers. You must be highly organized with a great sense of urgency and initiative.  

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates, possess the mentality to profile people, gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation.
  • Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage multiple searches at the same time.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios.
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Sunrun’s values.
  • Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings.
  • This position is required to work onsite in our Denver Corporate office. 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of previous recruiting and sourcing experience (preferably a mix of agency and in-house)
  • Track record of recruiting for construction and field operations positions. 
  • Experience hiring in a high volume environment 10 -20 hires per month.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Confident in networking; ability to build relationships with prospective candidates and external organizations
  • Proven ability to successfully prioritize and manage a large and diverse requisition load in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment
  • Team player who is self-directed and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • High integrity; high degree of professionalism
  • Strong communication skills
  • BA/BS degree or relevant professional experience
