What You Will Be Doing

In this training role, you will facilitate conversations and training sessions onsite and at ChargePoint Headquarters with our internal new hires and Channel partners to ensure they are experts in the electric vehicle charging industry.  You will be on the cutting edge of electric vehicle (EV) charging with the leader in the EV charging industry, ChargePoint.

Post pandemic, you will travel to partner sites to train, as well as deliver training at headquarters.  You can be part of the solution to many environmental problems.  Through your training, you will enable our internal sales new hires and channel partners to get EV chargers across North America which enables more people to buy and electric vehicle and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Deliver training programs to support learning objectives that align with Channel sales organization’s goal
  • Ability to travel in North America
  • Work with Channel organization to create a certification program for Channel sales people
  • Continually work to ensure all training materials are consistent and up-to-date and in line with products and larger organizational initiatives
  • Present training materials using a variety of instructional techniques, such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, presentations, videos, podcasts and other creative techniques
  • Work cross functionally with sales leadership, marketing, product, and systems teams to align training goals
  • Develop assessments to measure the effectiveness of the curriculum and learner performance in Sales
  • Track training data, report on metrics, and provide feedback and recommendations on how we move forward with training for sales roles.
  • Summarize and share data through regular reports and presentations to the sales leadership team
  • Work with internal teams to increase awareness of learning programs
  • Create weekly, monthly, quarterly training programs to keep sales learning
  • Create and maintain annual calendar for Channel training

Requirements

  • Three years of experience in customer-facing training or related sales experience.
  • Background in adult learning techniques.
  • 25% travel required
  • Experience develop full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, facilitate, monitor and evaluate).
