Job Summary

May Mobility is entering an exciting phase of growth and our team is expanding quickly.This role will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager and is responsible for supporting the day to day activities of May Mobility's Supply Chain strategic sourcing and industry partnerships, which includes working cross-functionally to understand needs for third-party engagement across the business, finding and evaluating potential partners and suppliers, drafting and issuing RFQs, leading the negotiation of key terms and conditions as well as pricing, managing commercial and supply chain issues, identifying and executing on cost reduction opportunities, and management of third party relationships. Individuals who can operate independently and possess experience in low volume: electronics, metal fabrication, injection molding, 3D printing, EV & AV, fleet maintenance or capital equipment are highly desirable.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform day to day strategic purchasing as well as transactional purchases for requesting departments.
  • Design, conduct, and research supplier, industry, and market trends
  • Understand the ins and outs of any supply constraints in a given period, and work with Suppliers to alleviate bottlenecks
  • Create, review and analyze Request for Quotation (RFQ) from suppliers while prioritizing related company values and objectives
  • Identify sourcing alternatives to drive efficiencies via benchmarking, competitive quotes, and changing requirements
  • Forecast and execute material supply plans with internal May Mobility stakeholders and external sites through manual calculations/adjustments and formal communication in our MRP system
  • Collaborate with software, engineering, and product teams to understand demand for our Vehicle builds, testing operations and site launches
  • Support new market launch planning & strategy

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of work experience in a combination of supply / demand planning, forecasting, or operations planning.
  • Excellent analytical aptitude and experience with Excel and Google Sheets
  • Comfort in business discussions and able to effectively communicate complex data to wide audiences
  • Independent and practical approach to problem-solving with demonstrated impact
  • Experience working as part of a fast faced high-performance team
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License
  • Ability to undergo driving record check
  • It's preferred if you have experience with Netsuite ERP
