What You Will Be Doing

As a Software QA Engineer, you will be a key member of the ChargePoint QA team responsible for ensuring high quality standards across our product suite. You will additionally develop automation tests & maintain test infrastructure, with a goal of stability, reliability and clear reporting. You will work closely with the engineering and product teams to create test plans, identify components and drive testing for Data Warehouse and Big Data projects. This position requires an individual who is a team player, an excellent communicator, creative, data driven and results oriented. ­

 What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• Fundamental understanding of data analytics, data warehouse systems.
• Experience testing big data solutions.
• Developing and implementing test plans and scripts for various data quality processes.

• Maintaining an effective framework in coordination with technology teams for production systems.
• Analysis and Diagnosis of data-driven Tableau dashboards.
• Adding Data Quality checks for various datasets.
• Load testing of databases and analysis of performance data.
• Maintaining manual and automated test scripts and recommending modification as per requirements.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong CS fundamentals.
• 2+ years of experience in software development/testing.

• Must be experienced on Data Warehousing Projects with good knowledge of ETL testing.
• Must be proficient in at least one Programming language Scala, Java, Python.
• Strong in SQL, RDBMS, NO SQL Databases and DW concepts.
• Experienced in validating Reports/Dashboard on tools like Tableau, MS Power BI etc.
• Good to have knowledge on... AWS glue, S3, Amazon Redshift, Scala Library unit testing, SQL Unit Testing.

• Great attention to detail with a result driven test approach.
• Self-starter; strong drive, bias-to-action, commitment and work ethic; willingness to take on big challenges and own the results from brainstorm to execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Able to influence others effectively.

Desirable qualifications / pluses:

• Experience in the field of e-mobility.
• Experience in Distributed data processing technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and data ecosystem on AWS.
