PR Manager

Zoox's PR Manager will provide support for marketing and communications initiatives, which may include product announcements, thought leadership campaigns, community relations, speaking engagements and events, employer brand, and integrated content marketing. This role requires strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and strong project management skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks within a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support media outreach and relations for key announcements and moments in times
• Manage daily press requests and coordinate with the team
• Develop and grow relationships with influencers and bloggers related to our target focus
• Support speaking engagements for key executives and Zoox spokespeople
• Oversee speaking and awards programs
• Support the team with larger events, including coordination of materials, background information, etc. 
• Develop or edit content as needed in partnership with the team, including blog posts, partner content, contributed content, talking points, media alerts, press releases, etc. 
• Support cross-promotion with key Zoox partners
• Oversee weekly reporting and metrics of PR initiatives
• Maintain Zoox press room
• Brainstorm and contribute to PR strategies and initiatives
• Provide PR agency management

Qualifications

• 4+ years of in-house or agency public relations or marketing experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience cross-collaborating with stakeholders and C-level executives
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to react quickly and take creative direction as needed

• Previous experience working in technology industries
• Proficiency with media monitoring software
• SEO experience
