Position: Equipment Program Manager, Location Ames, IA, Remote OK

We are looking for an Equipment Program Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the precision ag industry to oversee our equipment reimbursement program. As a critical member of our Commercial team, this role will also advise customers on equipment inquiries related to using our in-furrow products.  This position will be responsible for identifying and keeping up with new technologies, as well as assisting the product development team determine if new Pivot Bio products will work with equipment available on the market.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Responsive to customer needs through email, call or on farm visits to customers and channel partners
  • Receive, review and track customer invoices for the equipment reimbursement program.  Making sure all equipment qualifies and meets minimum specs
  • Work with the accounting team to track the program budget and reimburse customers that meet all program requirements
  • Educate customers on best practices when using in-furrow equipment
  • Assist with product development by testing new products with equipment available on the market

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 8 years of experience working in the precision ag industry, preferably with in-furrow equipment 
  • Strong understanding of ag inputs and diverse application practices, including in-furrow and seed treatment processes.
  • Customer oriented, with a demonstrated ability to respect and earn the respect of, farmers and channel partners.  
  • Demonstrated track record of effective working relationships with channel partners
  • Excellent problem solving & troubleshooting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self starter, reliable and able to work independently.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% within assigned area.
