Job Description

Summary of Position

We are hiring a Business Partnerships Manager to lead all reseller accounts for our product, DemandEx.

This is a leadership role in our companies’ sales team.  You will have strong input on our company’s sales strategy, while also being directly responsible for closing deals with new and existing reseller partners.  Your main objective will be to create relationships that lead to large portfolio sized deals, and you will help direct other members of our team to assist you in closing those deals.

Developing relationships with solar installers, energy efficiency experts, air conditioning experts and others enables us sell our product efficiently and at scale.  We already have existing customers, partners, and a large existing pipeline of highly qualified prospects.  This position will also help develop and execute on marketing strategies to find new highly qualified leads.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven track record of sales success in other companies.
  • Sales team management experience.
  • Experience with creative prospecting and marketing strategies
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM
  • Thorough understanding of Solar, Energy Efficiency, and HVAC industries
  • Passion for mission of accelerating adoption of renewable energy
  • Experience with Energy ToolBase or other solar energy data analytics is a plus

An ideal candidate will have experience as an account executive or sales manager, ideally in the solar or renewable energy space.  You should be comfortable with sales cycles of complex technologies, as well as fast paced learning curves as our company grows quickly.

As a startup, you will have a significant impact on the progress of the company. You should be a self-starter who takes initiative and has experience in an entrepreneurial environment. You should be comfortable working collaboratively in a small team, with ability to support operations, R&D, and business applications. Finding creative solutions to the challenges of growing a startup should be exciting for you.

We are looking for someone in the San Francisco Bay area. We have an office in downtown Oakland but are working remotely during COVID. We will return to in-person work, with flexibility for remote work, when allowed and safe.
