About the Role

The County Manager is a key role for Spin. As the leader of Spin in your territory, you will be responsible for handling market success, defining in-region expansion strategies, ensuring successful launches and driving regional market P&L.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in leading regional operations in a hyper-growth or mobility company, with experience building and implementing growth strategy and managing, reporting and forecasting regional P&L.

In this role, you will lead our Operations in Canada and work closely with Marketing, Recruiting, PR, Policy. Great leadership and problem solving ability is key - you’ll be leading a local team and ensuring operational excellence in your country.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for all aspects of Canada
  • Leading the whole corporate / country P&L and budget, reporting metrics and forecasting
  • Focus on growing ridership and revenue, country expansion strategy and ensure successful launches
  • Handle build-out, deployment, ongoing maintenance and efficiency of Spin vehicles
  • Build and lead multiple complex teams and entities within SPIN by developing strong individual contributors and leaders
  • Handle local politics and regulatory concern
  • Build and implement the country growth strategy across new and existing market operations, marketing, policy, PR, recruiting, policy, communications, and much more
  • Generate new Key Performance Indicators and metrics, prioritize resources and develop systems, procedures and organizational plans to grow department and company success
  • Share your standard methodologies to help scale our other countries

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in business operations, investment banking, and / or strategy consulting with 4+ years of experience directly managing a team
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Plus if major / emphasis is in business, finance or economics or a completed MBA
  • SQL proficiency strongly preferred, in addition to Google Suite
  • Analytical background: you can mold and understand data to drive action and results
  • Strong experience in leading teams and management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: an ability to empower your team, and work effectively with local governments and businesses
  • Startup, Hyper Growth and / or Mobility experience highly preferred
  • An entrepreneurial spirit - no problems with rolling up yours sleeves
