Our North American company, Ideematec, Inc. is hiring a Product Manager. This position can be remote or in person at our Scottsdale, AZ location. 

The Product Manager will serve as the “technical expert” on all of Ideematec’s tracking systems and understand all aspects of each components design, installation, and servicing procedures. The Product Manager will assist in training installers both on-site and remote via Teams/Zoom/etc. and be the main point of contact for technical inquiries and real-time troubleshooting. The Product Manager will also maintain a current understanding of the rapidly evolving technical tracker landscape, including a mastery of all regulatory and safety measures in North America. The Product Manager will provide technical support to sales and project management teams, and work closely with the R&D team to support new product development (NPD) and product compliance. Such activities include process optimization and design improvements for current components. The ideal candidate will have a deep and demonstrated understanding of solar project development, solar tracking and racking, and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal and external teams from proposal/ layout stage through sourcing, training, component delivery and project commissioning.
• Prepare and lead technical presentations on Ideematec’s tracking systems both in person and virtually. 
• Plan and lead installation certification and permitting related activities for EPC and developer customers. 
• Optimize installation and maintenance schedules for existing products.
• Support the sales and project management staff as the technical expert.
• Effectively communicate internally and externally as part of an international team.

Qualifications

• Technical/ Engineering degree or related background
• 5+ years of experience in energy product management, solar experience a must 
• PMP certification and static analysis background a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage a project from proposal, to delivery
• Strong communication skills, self-motivated, entrepreneurial/innovator mindset 
• The position requires travel related to industry exhibits and project deliverables
