The Role

At Motiv, we’ve taken a radically different approach to building electric trucks. Motiv has developed a line of all-electric medium-duty truck and bus chassis, our EPIC platform, which is used in many all-electric truck and bus applications.  We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic Senior Market Analyst to join us in transforming an industry. In this position you will take direction from the Director of Product Management and your key responsibilities will include owning market intelligence. Your role will help define Motiv’s market and product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct competitive, benchmarking and other market analysis to provide input to Motiv’s overall product roadmap
• Run new business analysis, complete diligence of new opportunities and other strategic projects
• Conduct policy research to assist product management in formulating market and compliance requirements
• Support product pricing and economic analyses across all business lines
• Manage third party firms as needed

Required Experience and Skills

• BS in a quantitative discipline; MBA is a plus
• Minimum 5 years market analysis and research, policy analysis.
• Past experience in leading projects where collaboration across departments was critical to success
• Attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to take a given objective and develop analytical framework
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to influence and work with all levels of an organization
• Solid technical foundation, ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a “can do” attitude
• EV experience a plus
