Your Role and Your Team
You will report directly to the Accountable Manager Airline. You will be responsible for the Airline’s Operations Control Centre (OCC) together with your team. In this role you will ensure exceptional operational performance to highest safety standards, and low operational costs. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing efficient operations control processes and procedures, based on a state-of-the-art digital airline operations platform. You will contribute to developing best in class SOPs and document these in our Operating Manuals which will be rolled out across our network of AOCs and partner organisations.
Together with the Airline management and their teams you will ensure that our organisation complies with all regulations, works safely, and secures the highest quality standards, whilst operating the most modern and best-maintained fleet of aircraft.
The Lilium Airline organisation is critical to enable our vision where anybody can fly anywhere, anytime. We are responsible for the operation and maintenance of our Lilium jet fleet. As the physical touchpoint to the customer, it ensures the magical and seamless user experience that we at Lilium set out to achieve. We develop the future organisation, define and implement state-of-the-art operating procedures and processes, secure the required approvals in conjunction with the relevant authorities, and work closely with our colleagues from Engineering, Production, and Commercial to develop an integrated mobility service.
Your contribution will be key to the development of Lilium’s ground-breaking mobility service. The focus of this position is to co-develop and improve future ground operations and operations centre concepts and procedures while ensuring the highest safety, quality, and compliance standards through the whole industry. You will also be a critical driver to design, implement, and execute our initial quality, safety, and compliance strategy.
