Job Description

EnergyHub is expanding it’s Quality Assurance team and is looking to add a passionate software tester to our team to help us continue to deliver top quality products. 

Our QA team is closely integrated with development and gets involved early in the process, which means you will be engaged and contributing to the full product life-cycle, playing a central role in our quality process and continued success.

As a QA Analyst, you will:

  • Write thorough, effective test cases from requirements, and execute manual functional tests to validate requirements and system performance
  • Review product briefs and provide effort estimates
  • Write detailed bug reports and track their progress through to closure
  • Perform multiple types of manual testing such as functional, exploratory, negative, regression
  • Prepare clear documentation on testing guidelines and procedures
  • Contribute to our team culture and inclusive workplace environment

The ideal candidate:

  • Should have strong QA knowledge and skills, with 1-3 years software testing experience
  • Has a keen eye for detail, and strong problem solving skills
  • Has a complete understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Has prior experience with bug tracking tools
  • Possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Believes that quality is a continual process, and takes pride in seeing products continue to develop and improve
  • Previous experience with smart devices and writing Selenium automation tests a plus!
