The Climate Service provides climate analytics to help the world’s governments, companies, and financial institutions measure and manage the financial risk from climate change. We are a fast-growing, three-year-old company, and our mission is to embed climate data into global decision-making. We believe this will accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy, and help make the world more resilient to the most important challenge of our time.
We are looking for two paid summer interns who will support the efforts of our Research & Development (R&D) team. Interns will support scientific impact function documentation, GIS data-mapping, and/or financial modeling efforts (depending on your experience and skills).
The successful candidates will join our team remotely, working on Eastern time along with our Durham- and New York-based teams.
We're looking for someone who is curious, enthusiastic, and adaptable to join our team for the Summer of 2021. You should have or be working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree with coursework in business and/or sustainability -- or related fields.
The internship will run from approximately June 1 - August 13, 2021, depending on the intern’s academic schedule. Actual start and end date can be negotiated upon hire.
