Madly growing and headquartered in Seattle, WA, we are seeking a full-time Finance Systems Analyst to join our team. Our Finance Systems Analyst will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between systems, servers, employees and our Rad Riding customers - particularly as it relates to financial and statistical data. We are looking for someone who can help maintain the integrity of our financial reporting and analysis by owning various elements of the systems and data interchanges that feed our ERP and data libraries. The candidate will play an integral role in designing schemas, optimizing data transformation, and managing deployment and maintenance of data pipelines. This role reports into our Finance Systems Manager and is part of a cross-functional Finance department. This is a great opportunity to get into a young and rapidly growing company!

Why You're Rad (about you):

  • 4-6+ years of experience in Accounting related field, OR, 4-6+ years of experience in IT related field
  • Strong desire to work in a team environment
  • Confident working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, e-commerce platforms and other cloud-based data sources
  • Desire to seek new and better ways of doing things, generating original and imaginative ideas, products, and/or solutions
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with both local and non-local teammates
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail

Additional Requirements

  • BA, BS, or B.Com degree required (Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Statistics or equivalent work experience)
  • Business finance or other relevant experience

You get bonus points for:

  • Experience with B2C and/or B2B retail operations and software, such as:
  • Experience with NetSuite, or other comparable ERP software
  • Experience working with Shopify, or comparable online commerce platform, and data interchange to or from ERP/Accounting software
  • Experience with integration platforms such as Celigo
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and libraries to create databases and online reports to support project measurement, data analytics, and system performance measurement
  • Experience with GraphQL, BigQuery, and Postgres, and with Microsoft Visio or other process and flowchart diagramming programs and process documentation

Had you been with us last month, the top 5 things you would have impacted are:

  • Contributed to the planning, mapping, and testing of a new integration between NetSuite, Shopify, and various third party logistics partner software 
  • Implementation of new software, including sourcing, developing test scripts, and driving rollout, tailoring to needs of individual users and departments
  • Evaluated the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed data solutions and develop queries to make data available to reporting and visualization tools
  • Partnered with Accounting and Finance teams to improve and maintain the accuracy and completeness of our general ledger and financial reporting.
  • Participated in end-to-end administration and maintenance of tools, systems and ETLs in the form of end-user support and monitoring progress against data and systems integration to provide insight into what is working, what is not working, and why
  • Additional duties and overtime as required
