Senior Inbound Logistics Analyst

Madly growing and located in Seattle, WA, we are seeking a full-time Inbound Logistics Analyst to join our team. If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are looking to be a part of a dynamic team, this might be the role for you! 
Our Senior Inbound Logistics Analyst is responsible for importing our bikes, accessories, and spare parts to our global 3PLs. This individual will be the key point of contact with our freight forwarder, customs broker, logistics service providers, warehouse & distribution centers. Additionally, you will work closely with our Supply Chain, Finance, Retail, and Product teams to ensure timely arrivals and accurate reporting. This role reports to our Senior Manager, Logistics and Warehousing. 

Why You’re Rad (about you):

• 5+ years of experience in imports, primarily from Asia and SE Asia
• 5+ years of experience with customs brokerage and import clearance processes
• Familiarity with HTS codes and related tariffs and an understanding of INCO terms, ocean freight, and air freight 
• Ability to identify areas for process improvement and cost savings
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making, and comfort with financial and operational analysis

Additional Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
• Experience in an ERP, Order Management Platform and WMS strongly preferred
• Ability to multitask and Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

You get bonus points for:

• Imports training or technical certification
• Customs clearance experience / understanding
• DG certification or prior experience working with DG shipments

• Managed the process of facilitating imports from various countries to multiple destinations
• Been the liaison between a freight forwarder, fulfillment centers, vendors and internal stakeholders for day to day processes and updates
• Maintained our database of logistics information such as pricing, number of shipments, and KPI information 
• Identified opportunities to lower costs and increase efficiencies, while maintaining efficiencies in shipping
• Balanced competing demands for resources and adapted to changing priorities, working independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting
