Overview

We’re seeking talented individuals who are not only passionate about their own role, but want their efforts to support a meaningful, tangible corporate mission. ChargePoint has several intern and early career roles in our Product Portfolio Management team.

What You Will Be Doing

The Product Portfolio Analyst will help provide strategic direction to the ChargePoint product team, defining and delivering solutions that serve our Commercial and Fleet customers as well as our EV Driver users. Our portfolio of solutions addresses the needs of various segments through a combination of hardware, software, support, and purchase models that match our customers’ goals. 

You will join the Product Portfolio team who serve as strategist for each segment to maximize ChargePoint’s solution value. You will work closely with experienced product managers, and directly with other functions and part of the product team.

This role you will work on specific projects to deepen our understanding and shape our ongoing strategy to increase charging solutions adoption. Some of the areas of exploration include:

  • For commercial real estate and multi-family properties, how can we increase our charging solution adoption?
  • How can we evolve our Charging as a Service offerings to increase charging adoption across verticals such as Fleet, Apartments, Commercial Customers, etc.
  • Landscape mapping including competitive, adjacent, and value-chain participants, how can we best position ChargePoint to increase charging solution adoption across verticals such as Fleet, Apartments, Commercial Customers, etc.
  • How could ChargePoint package features, services and pricing cloud software plans to maximize customer adoption?
  • For our installed base of customers, assess which factors most influencing renewal, charging solutions expansion, and how ChargePoint’s feature and service capabilities should evolve to deepen our relationship with site hosts.

In this role, you will

  • Support the crafting of the customer-centric vision, strategy, and business plan for assigned solutions.
  • Analyze ChargePoint’s business model, GTM and offer structure to serve the segment; recommending how to optimize for rapid adoption, high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Utilize expertise of business strategy, business models, product planning, customer discovery and product development to execute on the solution vision.
  • Track market trends and competitive offerings, interface with customers and sales organization to drive product direction and ensure capabilities meet market needs and customer satisfaction goals.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in product management, consulting, business development or corporate strategy roles.
  • Strong excel, data analysis, and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently and be able to chart direction of projects/programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple and diverse stakeholders across businesses and leadership levels.
  • Excellent cross- functional team player.
  • B.S. and in pursuit or attained an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
