Job Description

Role: ESC Dispatcher (9 month FTC)

Location: Havant or Bristol

Hours: 37 hours weekly 13:45 – 00:00 4 days a week (every other weekend)

Where in the world of OVO will I be working? 

You will be working within our Emergency Team supporting our Smart and Paygo customers off supply. You will build a great relationship with field engineers and work to allocate them emergency jobs to get our customers back on supply. Team work is key in this role as you will be working with other stakeholders to ensure we attend the emergency’s within our SLA. 

What will I be doing?

You will be working with our field colleagues and allocating our emergency jobs to assist our customers off supply. We have to attend our emergency jobs within a certain time scale so working efficiently and with accurately is key. 

Responsibilities

  • Allocating emergency jobs to engineers
  • Raising and closing down jobs
  • Taking phone calls
  • Dealing with a variety of stakeholders
  • Admin work to support the business area

Is this the job for me? 

This role can be fast-paced so it’s crucial that you enjoy working under pressure and that you excel in being able to prioritise your work.

You’ll demonstrate a good attention to detail and will have experience of talking to a wide range of people over the phone, face to face and via email, providing excellent service at all times.

  • Phenomenal at organisation; prior experience within a coordination style role is a plus!
