Senior Director, Business Applications

What You Will Be Doing

The ERP Solution Architect will be a part of a dynamic team within the Business Applications department, leading programs to re-design Supply Chain and Finance processes by defining automation requirements, then designing and delivering solutions in NetSuite. This role will work closely with offshore development, quality assurance, and support. The successful candidate is self-motivated, results-oriented individual who enjoys a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and agile environment, that requires problem-solving skills. They have worked effectively with, and provided world-class service to, internal and external customers. This is a hands-on role, and will require strong experience and knowledge of the NetSuite platform and Agile/scrum methodologies.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Strong communication skills, interaction with clients, users, management, and developers
  • Conduct research, gather information, interpret data, and then create a solution
  • Create data object models and flowcharts of ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ workflows
  • Collaboration with peer organizations, quality assurance, and end users to produce cutting-edge software solutions
  • Management of analysis, design, programming, testing and deployment of software code
  • Coaching and mentorship to development team; by sharing skills, expertise, and leading by example
  • Track record of troubleshooting code problems quickly and efficiently
  • Proficiency with Agile related project management tools (such as Jira and Confluence, or similar)

Requirements

  • BS Computer Science (or equivalent) degree is required·
  • 2-4 years experience as an analyst and project manager
  • 3-5 years experience as a solution architect
  • Broad and deep knowledge of NetSuite Production Management, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse & Fulfillment, and Financials
  • Experience working with stakeholders in Supply Chain, Accounting, and Financial Planning & Analysis functions
  • Experience with core components and architecture of ERP, CRM systems including SalesForce.com
  • Demonstrated ability to express business needs as application requirements
  • Proficient in Netsuite Suite Scripts, SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, and complex Saved Searches
  • Ability to maintain Suitelet, RESTlet, User Event, Scheduled, Client, Portlet and other NetSuite specific scripts
  • Certification in one or more NetSuite administration courses
  • Proven experience in project management and delivering complex solutions on time and on budget
  • Strong client-facing skills: business networking, consulting, partnering, and influencing
  • Strong verbal and written communication / presentation and demonstration abilities, facilitation, negotiation and expectation management
  • Demonstrated ability to document applications clearly and in terms easy for business users to grasp
