Beyond Meat is seeking a Retail Marketing Manager to join our team. The Retail Marketing Manager will be responsible for accelerating sales velocities via retail marketing programs for both Beyond Meat and our customers.  We are looking for an outstanding professional with experience executing innovative and differentiated strategies to reach our consumers/shoppers both in store and online. The right person possesses a high-level understanding of unique customer and shopper needs to advance activation that fosters strong customer relationships and results. Ideal candidate will have both a marketing and sales mindset with a particular focus on growing emerging categories and brand within large and mid-sized retailers. 

Responsibilities

  • Use category, shopper, and retailer specific insights to identify opportunities and industry trends to generate retailer specific strategies and customer marketing plans
  • Identify and lead off-platform/3rd party opportunities and collaborative partner programs for driving online/offline sales at retailer
  • Execute retailer marketing tactics and analyze results for effectiveness
  • Optimize performance on ecommerce platforms for maximum efficiency 
  • Effectively and productively collaborate with internal sales team to develop sales materials using category insights based on syndicated data to support new product launches
  • Support field marketing and digital teams with the creation of POS materials and other marketing vehicles

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or similar field
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing or sales
  • Substantial experience working in the CPG industry or retailer
  • 3+ years in account management and/or shopper marketing
  • Experience managing large retail accounts
  • Strong knowledge of omnichannel marketing and how to effective drive sales both in store and online
  • Knowledge of syndicated data sources including IRI, Nielsen, and SPINS
  • Previous experience working with mass retailers
  • Quantitative skills and financial acumen
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written, presentation to include the ability to have joint presentations with sales and interface with all levels of the customer
  • Motivated by fast-paced, rapid changing environments
  • Self-starter who loves collaboration. Comfortable working independently as well as influencing cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to company values
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude
